Best-rated beers in France
Let’s kick things off by taking a look at the Top-20 list of all-rated beers in France. While this list includes brews from around the world, it’s clear that central Europe has a stronghold on the rankings.
It’s no secret that stronger beers tend to get higher ratings, and this is evident in the list below, which is dominated by Belgian beers. Many of them being old classics. However, while many beer enthusiasts may gravitate towards bold, high-ABV brews, there’s something to be said for the classics. Case in point: Guinness. Despite its relatively mild flavour profile compared to some of the other beers on our list, this beloved Irish stout still managed to snag the ninth spot on our ranking of the top-rated beers in France for the first four months of 2023.

Oh ok I see thanks 🙂
Anoter question : did you take into account the number of people that rate a beer ? I mean what if I add a new beer and I give 5 stars to it, its mean will be to 5 right…? So it should be on the top 10 ? 😀

Yes! Minimum amount of unique reviews (different users) made in France during the timeframe of these top list products was 100 and 50. Average rating of a beer won’t change to 5.0 if it has only one 5.0 rating. Each product has a set of 3.0 ratings as the base before any ratings are given so that the products average rating is not affected that much when the first ratings are coming in.
